Service Description

In group therapy, up to six individuals meet together with a therapist. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy focuses on the present. With the therapist's guidance, the group examines how the past is relevant to the present. The goal is not to prevent future pain or trouble but to develop the ability to cope with life's challenges and frustrations. Some individuals may prefer to be a part of a group, finding it more helpful than individual therapy. Group therapy can also help individuals realise they are not alone in their experiences.
